AU EVENTS


Rape and Safety Meeting – Tuesday, September 15 –  8pm-9:40pm – MGC 247

Come get involved in the Women’s Initiative department of rape and safety! We will be discussing our plans for the year including our upcoming screening of the film “The Line” and the long-term “con(sensual)” campaign to the stress importance of seeking consensual sex. Student Involvement Fair – Wednesday, September 16 – 11:30am-2pm – Main Quad

Missed our General Interest meeting? Want to find out what Women’s Initiative is all about? Come visit our table at the student involvement fair! Student leaders from WI will be there to answer your questions and talk about upcoming events and projects. Check us out!


Wellness Fair—Thursday, September 17—10am-3pm – Main Quad

Join the Wellness Center and dozens of on-campus and DC area organizations to learn about important health issues! 


AU Fights AIDS Tabling – Friday, September 18 –  11am-2pm –MGC Lobby
Visit our table on Friday to find out more about joining our team to walk for this amazing cause. AU Fights AIDS! has been the largest team at the walk for the last two years… let’s make it three! Safe Space Sticker Program

You can be a part of making AU a safer, more inclusive environment for all. Join the Safe Space Sticker Program to learn more about issues of sexual orientation and gender identity and resources on our campus. Bike for the Heart—Sunday, October 11, 2009 – 8 am

Get your wheels spinning and take part in Sister to Sister’s “Bike for the Heart”  bike ride around D.C.
