INTERNSHIPS/JOB LISTINGS/FELLOWSHIPS

Running Start Internship—Running Start is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring young women and girls to run for political office. As a relatively new organization, Running Start relies on the hard work of its dedicated interns. Consequently, this is an ideal internship for students who would like a great deal of responsibility and variety in the work they would do during their internship. Intern responsibilities may include events planning, writing, research, (and little to no filing or answering the phone!) Strong writing, communication, and organization skills and initiative to handle one’s own projects to help the organization grow are a must. Knowledge of Excel and Frontpage/web editing would be helpful.
